With a successful background as a finance executive and entrepreneur, Alex is dedicated to empowering educational institutions and service companies to reach their full potential and realize their genius.

Michael Press brings extensive experience in financial management and strategic planning to our team. As the Chief Financial Officer, he oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing funding opportunities for our clients. His expertise ensures that both our company and the schools we work with are on solid financial footing.

Dr. Krista Mallo provides academic support to families, private schools, and other education service providers. Her specialties include solving complex problems, crisis management, school start-up, accreditation, compliance, learning management and student information systems set-up, resource management, curriculum mapping, and staff development. Dr. Mallo holds a PhD in Curriculum & Instruction and brings over 20 years of experience as a teacher and administrator, having served every level of education from preschool through graduate school. Prior to moving into the private sector, Dr. Mallo worked in public, private, and charter schools. She continues to serve on staff as an adjunct professor at several universities.

Leading our marketing efforts with creativity and strategic insight, Georgia Christopoulos serves as our Marketing Consultant. She develops and implements digital marketing strategies that enhance our clients’ online presence and outreach. Her expertise in branding, social media management, and SEO helps schools attract and engage with their target audiences effectively.

As our Family Resource Consultant, Brandie Rimer serves as a vital link between families and educational resources. With a strong background in early childhood education and resource coordination, she assists parents in navigating school selection, educational planning, and connecting with support services. Her compassionate approach ensures that families feel supported throughout their educational journey.

With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to accuracy, Walter Amaya manages the day-to-day accounting functions for School Choice Solutions and our clients. His proficiency in financial reporting, compliance, and resource optimization plays a crucial role in helping educational institutions manage their finances effectively.

Richard is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in charter school audits and nonprofit organizations. A native of Nigeria and South Florida, Richard earned both his Bachelor’s and Master of Accountancy degrees from Florida International University. His professional career began at KPMG, one of the Big 4 firms, where he worked in their assurance practice and gained foundational expertise in audits and financial reporting. Throughout his career, Richard has worked with a diverse range of clients, from large international public companies to local nonprofits and charter schools. This broad exposure has provided him with a deep understanding of the unique financial and operational challenges faced by these organizations, enabling him to offer tailored audit, review, and compilation services that address their specific needs. Outside of work, Richard enjoys watching sports, spending time at the beach, and traveling to explore new cultures and perspectives. He is passionate about leveraging his expertise to support the mission-driven work of charter schools and nonprofit organizations, helping them achieve financial transparency and long-term sustainability.

Carol Siegel is a licensed agent and SHRP professional with over 24 years of experience in HR compliance and labor law, specializing in charter schools since 2001. Beginning her career in the PEO industry, Carol has worked extensively to help businesses operate successfully by providing comprehensive HR solutions. In 2001, she joined ACH of America PEO in Orlando, FL, as a Benefits Administrator. By 2006, she became the COO of ACH-Charter School Alliance, where she supported charter schools across Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina with start-ups, HR, payroll, tax processing, and safety compliance. As a passionate advocate for charter schools, Carol partnered with the National Association of Charter School Authorizers (NACSA), serving as an independent voice for effective charter school policy and authorizing practices. In 2019, she transitioned to Paychex as the HR Director and Insurance Compliance leader for their Charter School Market, building strong relationships with insurance companies and financial entities to provide Fortune 500-level services to schools nationwide. Carol specializes in a holistic HR approach, with a focus on safety risk management, HR strategy, recruitment, talent management, and company policy development tailored to charter schools. She is currently the CEO of American Labor Advantage (ALA), a staffing agency based in Orange County, where she continues to serve the needs of businesses and charter schools alike.

Kassandra Peña is a proud graduate of the University of South Florida, where she earned her degree in Accounting.
